What do we do now?
Covid was hard.
Even if you didn’t lose someone close to you, you still lost so much.
Let’s rediscover our resilience, grit, and good humor to reclaim our lives.
Meet Dr. Melissa Baartman Mork
Melissa has experienced significant loss in her life: her parents died when she was in college, she lost beloved friends to suicide, brain aneurysm, heart attack, and she has suffered a series of devastating reproductive losses.
A few years ago, Melissa’s husband died of an aggressive cancer, and she was left to parent their two children alone.
Through these hard experiences, Melissa used psychological theory and (a questionable sense of humor) to rebuild her resilience.
Now it’s your turn. Melissa will provide the tools you need to redefine your own post-covid recovery with meaning and intention, laughter and levity, purpose and resolve.
Dr. Melissa Mork will deliver scientifically-informed content that will have attendees looking deeper into their own grit and resilience. Her topics are personally and professionally relevant to help employers, employees, and families rebuild on their strengths. From stages in Los Angeles to Oxford, Capetown to Minneapolis, her goal is to encourage, inform, and inspire.
Dr. Melissa Mork is a professor of clinical and forensic psychology and former psychotherapist. As an executive coach, she can help you identify workable solutions toward transformative change by focusing on your identified strengths and resources. Using tenets of positive psychology and other theoretical strategies, she will assist you in reclaiming your resilience and rediscovering the self.
